    I shop the Tigard Oregon store and the staff have always been really friendly, helpful and seem to enjoy what they are doing. The store always seems clean, organized and even through the recent remodel the staff was friendly. However, I went there on 08/10/18 and the cashier Mike seemed very unhappy. I hope he’s ok!

    The Safeway store on Williams Highway in Grants Pass, OR is in line for some much needed upgrades, but the customer service provided by Steve in the butcher shop is as good as it gets. I think he’s new so I congratulate those who hired him. Keep hiring this quality of employee!

    Customer service at the Safeway at meridian and Hamilton in San Jose is horrible. I consistently see staff stocking shelves while having personal conversations on their cell phone. They make no effort to accommodate the customer as you come down the isle with your cart. If they do move to let you by their body language says they are annoyed. Today the checkers did not have their check out isle light on which caused confusion for me and several other customers. I asked Demarco if he was open several times and he seemed to make every effort to ignore me. He checked me out with absolutely no pleasantries and zero eye contact. After spending Almost $200 weekly I would expect at least a thank you. He awkwardly asked at the end if I found everything I was looking for. What ever happened to Safeway’s exceptional customer service reputation? I am really disgusted.

    The shoreline Safeway on 155th and aurora has good prices, but there is never enough checkers!!!! Today the only checker with a long line called for back up 3 times. 2 people walked by and said they were too busy! There should always be at least 2 checkers, period!!!! I am so tired of waiting in long lines at that Safeway

    I am very frustrated because I want to be able to submit the correct survey so that this employee can be rewarded for her excellent customer service but your website is down again as I have tried this before it is highly frustrating as a customer trying to recognize one of your employees knowing that they will not properly get notified or if possible have any type of reward for acknowledgement for their amazing customer service. I was in the gas station at store 3523 on 14826 Highway 99 Lynnwood Washington 98036. The date was May 23rd 2018 I have all the numbers on my receipt but cannot do a proper survey the cashiers name was Vicky and I was in there roughly at 1:32 p.m. I go out of my way 12 miles to get my gas with her when I can go down the street and get it here because of how friendly and amazing this woman is she needs to be recognized for what an amazing job she does there at the gas station with your company. I will be highly upset if this does not get to her and she is not rewarded in the way that she should be hence it is quite difficult to get to a link that you provide that does not pull up correctly. You can contact me by email if need be. But in my opinion she needs to be recognized at the fullest! She’s an amazing woman who made me smile and even gave me hugs on the worst most painful day when I lost a baby and she treats me unbelievably kind and always has been so I continue to go out of my way to get my gas at that store only please see that she is recognized it is important to me. Safeway needs to hire more people like her!!

    I am a loyal and frequent customer of the Safeway in Dunkirk Maryland. I wanted to share a important story that happened to me today. I’m a night nurse, and after hard night of work I rushed to Safeway to pick up my 13 yr olds balloons and Confirmation cake before going to church. I rushed home, not knowing my 11 mo old puppy was let outside. She jumped on the cake box when I opened my van’s door. Of course I was devastated! After crying my eyes out… being over tired/& stressed, I calmed down long enough to call the Safeway bakery. I spoke to a lady named Bridgett. She calmed me down and said bring it back to the store. And told me to calm down and breathe before driving….to be safe. Once I got the family ready for church I sent my family off to church with daddy and I rushed the cake to Safeway. When I got to the bakery … the bakery girls including Bridgett surprised me with a brand new cake -already decorated. I was so shocked & thankful…all I could do was hug her. Because of them my day was saved and I could make it to the church on time. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to the bakery women!!!! God Bless you all!!!! P.S. The cake was beautiful, and was absolutely delicious. Thanks again for saving the day!!!! Love my Dunkirk, Safeway!!!!!

    Was at Safeway in centralia, wa. The bakery was great and Kelly she did a fantastic job helping me. Bakery is clean and stocked. The doughnuts are the best.

    Shelves empty of specials
    1 cashier 8 deep in customers
    No one at service desk.
    Will not make effort to come back to Safeway anytime soon.
    Safeway has really fallen off for service. Feels very impersonal here these days

    The service provided by Safeway for on-line delivery was excellent. I received everything I ordered except one item which was indicated as not available. The groceries arrived fresh and earlier than I expected. The person delivering the food, Gregory, was courteous, friendly and efficient. He explained the receipt and why I was missing one item (cauliflower) and that Safeway would reimburse me for that item. I, also, was very pleased that my personal shopper had really bothered to read several special request about items I wanted! This was an excellent first experience with Safeway on line. I will use this service again.!

    I love my neighborhood store. I know where most things are located and the staff is very friendly. My store is in San Jose store manager is Eric Ibarra. I received excellent service today from Trevor. To all the staff keep up the good work and thanks for great customer service.

    I was at store #1103 on February 6th . I really wanted to say an extra thank you to Jen An. She is a pharmacist at this store, and is always friendly and this time around she went the extra mile to help me get my medication and deal with my insurance company.

    All of your stores vary greatly in the deli. Your employees should know the signature sandwiches and how to properly layer the sandwich. Every store I go to does it differently. Sometimes, it’s great and other times I’ve got a mess on my hands. Better training is needed.

    I visited the safeway store on Richmond Highway Alexandria VA 22309 on 1/22/18 and Cre was the only one there willing to help. She was very kind and helpful and because of her I will continue to go to safeway. She’s a great employee!

    429 store manager lady withdark hair glasses need to learn how to manage an treat customers she is very rude and changes everything all the time and then gets happy and sarcastic very vocal very verbal aggression needs to be gone Or the store will start losing customers because of her

    Our family shops at the 2449 store in Napa ever since the little one closed we had to go to the bigger one some of the little store employees are there make the shopping experience great the store is always well on supply and busy as heck employees doing what they can to help sometimes too busy but the employees here are very dedicated thank you NAPA store

    I have been shopping for a long time with Safeway at 1640 Williams Hwy. I could always get cash back on my Discover card if I needed to. Last two times they say I can`t on Credit Card only on Debit card??? They said the machines were redone so you have no choice. I`m not happy with this and since I can get it at Walmart perhaps I`ll go there. I called Discover and they said that was not true. I can and should get it on my Discover Credit Card. Joan E Petersen
    P.S. There is a space on the Receipt saying CASH BACK AMOUNT.

    2840 E. 104th ave Safeway. Never have Snapple Diet Gallon stocked. Noosa Apple Yogurt expiration date was 12/19/17 I was there 12/18/17 REALLY!!!! I’ll drive to King Soopers which is farther to shop. At least they have products and fresh items. Plus they have enough staff to serve customers. This was much better as an Albertsons.

    Paula (Sunshine) at 51st Ave and Baseline store was my cashier today. She was very helpful and nice. My complaint is with Safeway’s checkout pricing on the computer as items are rung up. You do not see the discounts until the end. I like to check as they are input to make sure I am getting the right pricing. As it is now, I have to wait until the end and I get my receipt pull over to the side and check all the prices. 90% of the time the codes are wrong on the items and I have to do this.(not the cashier’s fault) Today I was overcharged $10.00. Major inconvenience, as the customer service dept always has a line. Paula (Sunshine) was so nice she took care of it for me. Would be better if I could let the cashier know as the items are input if they are wrong.

    The cheddar cheese bagels in the Hood River, Oregon store were changed a couple months ago.

    The new ones use MUCH less cheese. Just a sprinkling.

    They are terribly inferior to the previous version.
